. — The Neandertal long bones are generally considered as robust. A revision of most of the fossils known to date reveals in fact that, the robusticity of their humeras is moderate, that of the radius relatively weak, while the ulna is very slender by comparison with modern Humans.

. — Les os longs des Néandertaliens sont généralement considérés comme robustes. Une révision de la plupart des fossiles actuellement connus montre qu'en fait, par rapport à l'Homme moderne, la robustesse de leur humérus est très moyenne, celle de leur radius relativement faible et leur ulna apparaît très gracile.
