Jean Bertrand, « Par fil spécial : à propos de Félix Fénéon », Romantisme (documents), ID : 10.3406/roman.1997.3241
Published upon order in Le Matin from May to December 1906, Felix Feneon's Nouvelles en trois lignes produced an ironie reconciliation between press and literature, or at least seemed to ease the threat that journalistic style heid over the belles lettres. In adopting a telegraphie style at the bottom of the letter, he thus provided a possible compromise between reality and fiction, which made him notice that, from news articles to écriture a la diable, the one had more importance than the other.
