Abstract En Fr

On corruption: against the social order. Qādī-s from Bukhārā. Eleventh- and twelfth-century legal texts from Transoxiana on problems of corruption are analysed in the light of the hypotheses on the differentiation of social sub-systems developed in the theory of systems. The texts are compared with the House Rules of Representatives on gifts and contributions with a view to the notion of sovereignty embodied in both normatives systems.
