Ex-voto laid on 1978 down Cherchel Museum. The upper register shows a date-palm tree with two big ears ; the lower register is taken up with the dedication made by Oneratus, Lucia and their children, and which can be assigned to the second century. The raised divinity is not represented. May its identity be deduced from symbols of punie tradition : the date-palm tree symbol of fruitfulness and fecundity ; the ears showing the divinity listening to the faithful ? Is it Tanit Caelestis or an anonymus deity embodied in the date-palm tree : the Fecundity ?

Ex-voto déposé en 1978 au musée de Cherchel. Le registre supérieur représente un palmier-dattier flanqué de deux grandes oreilles ; le registre inférieur est occupé par la dédicace, faite par Oneratus, Lucia et leurs enfants et qui peut être attribuée au IIe siècle. La divinité évoquée n'est pas figurée. Son identité peut-elle se déduire des symboles, de tradition punique : le palmier-dattier, symbole de fertilité et de fécondité ; les oreilles, évoquant la divinité à l'écoute des fidèles ? S'agit-il de Tanit-Caelestis ou d'une divinité anonyme incarnée dans le palmier-dattier : la Fécondité ?
