The analysis of protohistoric ceramics from Gastel allows the author to determine a specific period of fréquentation under punie influences, during the second half of IIIrd and the beginning of the IInd c. B.C. Meanwhile the origins of the style must go up to the middle Vlth c. B.C., amongst libyan populations.

L'examen des céramiques protohistoriques de la nécropole de Gastel permet de déterminer un style de poterie peinte placée sous l'influence punique (seconde moitié du siècle et du début du IIe siècle av. J.-C). Cependant, les origines du style de Gastel remontent au milieu du VIe siècle, au sein depopulations libyques déjà sédentaires.
