Les enjeux cliniques d'une formation en O.S.P.

The authors consider the counselling activity as a clinical one, i.e. a work with people searching for their own identity through the process of an initial demand and a final decision. In this context, they raise 3 issues that they meet with the training of their students ; these often feel : 1. too young in front of the clients 2. unexperienced in their new profession 3. disqualified by the know-how of their supervisor. The paper suggests some ways for supervisors to come out with such problems which often handicap the work of beginning counsellors.

Soulignant la dimension clinique des activités de consultation en O.S.P., les auteurs considèrent trois problèmes plus particuliers qui en découlent et qu'ils rencontrent dans la formation de conseillers débutants : ceux-ci se vivent souvent comme très jeunes face à leur client ; ils se plaignent de leur inexpérience professionnelle et ils supportent parfois mal le cadre d'une supervision vécue comme infantilisante et disqualifiante. L'article soumet aux formateurs sensibles à ces problèmes quelques propositions qui pourraient faciliter aussi bien leurs tâches de superviseur que l'acquisition de compétences chez leurs étudiants.
