Résumé En Fr

The postern from the Entremont oppidum. The authors present the results of an archaeological and architectural study of the converted postern in the rampart, which surrounded the northern and eastern extension of the settlement from the middle of the second century BC. Two major phases are brought to light. In its oldest phase, the passage was only about 1.3 m wide, with a flight of 21 steps giving access to the door for which we have found the post-hole designed to receive the shaft. This phase was then destroyed and the passage obstructed. The second phase is characterised by the reopening and enlarging of the postern.
