Gallo-Greek commemorations of dedications from the territory of the Volcae Arecomici. The paper deals with nine Gallo-Greek inscriptions from the territory of the Volcae Arecomici, which are all engraved on the abacus of a Doric capital. It is hypothesised that the use of the same kind of material support for all these inscriptions points to a common function for all the corresponding texts and that all nine inscriptions are to be regarded as religious dedications. A tentative analysis of the texts themselves is proposed to substantiate this claim. The comparatively long inscription RIG, G-163, from Beaucaire, raises the most difficult problems.

L’article étudie neuf inscriptions gallo-grecques provenant du territoire des Volques Arécomiques, qui ont pour trait commun de figurer toutes sur l’abaque d’un chapiteau dorique. Nous émettons l’hypothèse que cette communauté de support renvoie à une communauté de fonction et qu’il s’agit dans les neuf cas de commémorations de dédicaces cultuelles ; nous proposons pour étayer cette hypothèse des remarques sur le contenu linguistique des inscriptions concernées. Le cas de l’inscription RIG, G-163, de Beaucaire, est le plus complexe en raison de la richesse du texte.
