The flavian dump of the Bas-de-Loyasse, in Lyon, excavated in 1970, has given remains of more than 400 amphoras which give a view almost complete of the amphoras types in use at this time in Gaul. The typological study completed by chemical analysis let us consider the consumption in Lyon in the end of the 1st century, through the transported foodstuffs and the origin of the amphoras. Amongst the main results we shall note the predominance of the wine-amphoras and the importance of the gaulish amphoras which are the most numerous. These include the flat-bottomed types called "gauloises" but also other types : Dressel 2/4, Haltern 70 similis, and Dressel 9 similis, which ask the question of an eventual redistribution, from Lyon, of produces imported in other containers. Moreover we notice the importance of the Eastern amphoras. The comparison with other sets from Lyon or Vienne allow yet to have an idea of the evolution of the imports between the end of the 1st century B.C. and the end of the 1st century A.D.

Le dépotoir flavien du Bas-de-Loyasse à Lyon, fouillé en 1970, a livré les restes de plus de 400 amphores qui fournissent un tableau assez complet des types d'amphores en usage en Gaule à cette époque. L'étude typologique, complétée par des analyses de pâtes, permet d'envisager la consommation à Lyon à la fin du II s. du point de vue des denrées transportées mais aussi de l'origine des amphores. Parmi les principaux résultats, on notera la prédominance des amphores vinaires et l'importance des amphores gauloises qui sont majoritaires. Celles-ci comportent surtout des types à fond plat dits «gauloises» mais également d'autres types, Dressel 2/4, Haltern 70 similis et Dressel 9 similis, qui posent la question d'une éventuelle redistribution à partir de Lyon de produits importés dans d'autres conteneurs. On remarque en outre la place relativement importante des amphores orientales. La comparaison avec d'autres ensembles de Lyon et de Vienne permet encore d'entrevoir l'évolution des importations entre la fin du Ier s. av. J.-C. et la fin du Ier s. ap. J.-C.
