The first work from Antonio López de Vega : El perfecto Señor, sueño político, was published in 1626. This polygraph from the first half of the seventeenth century gave in that work his vision about the foundations of the nobility and the part it should fulfil in the society of that time. His portrait of the perfect nobleman is based on ethics which tries to make a clever compromise between the Christian moral requirements and an aspiration for a type of individualism marked by a certain social realism.

La première œuvre de Antonio López de Vega : El perfecto Señor, sueño político, paraît en 1626. Ce poly graphe de la première moitié du XVIIe siècle y donne sa vision des fondements de la noblesse et du rôle qu'elle doit remplir dans la société du temps. Ce portrait du noble parfait s'appuie sur une éthique qui tente un compromis habile entre les exigences de la morale chrétienne et l'aspiration à un individualisme empreint d'un certain réalisme social.
