Of Linguistic Time as an Idealization of a Phenomenal Time. Linguistic time and phenomenal time, although strongly interrelated, are irreducible to each other. Having recalled the fundamental elements of linguistic time, the mathematical concepts which may provide convenient models to the representation of phenomenal time will be investigated. It will be shown that locology provides us with a logical-geometrical framework which allows to tackle phenomenal time and to show that linguistic time may then be seen as an idealization of it.

Temps linguistique et temps phénoménal entretiennent des rapports évidents mais sont irréductibles l'un à l'autre. Après avoir rappelé les éléments fondamentaux de la modélisation de la temporalité linguistique, nous traitons du temps phénoménal et des concepts logico-mathématiques susceptibles d'en fournir une modélisation. Nous montrons que la locologie fournit un cadre logico-géométrique qui permet d'appréhender le temps phénoménal et de considérer le temps linguistique comme une «idéalisation » de celui-ci.
