A semblance of mithridatization in the feminine In these times of Aids, in Lobi Burkinabé country, one can observe an updating of the symbolism of the numbers 3 and 4 attributed to the man and the woman. This symbolism reveals, here, that women can last more than men with the illness. Thanks in particular to their menstrual flow of blood, the Aids which contaminates blood would be eliminated «a little by itself». A therapeutical pregnancy of tranference would also be possible. Under these conditions, masculine fear forces and conditions fantastical activity. Women want and could more easily «give Aids » to men. Finally, the semblance of mithridatization which women would benefit by, aggravates antagonistic sex relations and leads to a stigmatization which is no longer at all imaginary.

Au temps du sida, en Pays Lobi Burkinabé, on assiste à une réactualisation de la symbolique des chiffres 3 et 4 assignés à l'homme et à la femme. Cette symbolique témoigne ici d'une durée de vie plus grande avec la maladie accordée aux femmes. En effet grâce notamment à leurs écoulements menstruels, le sida qui contamine le sang s'éliminerait «un peu de lui-même ».
