The function of the quaternary inherited features in the alpine karsts : the example of the southern alps. The purpose of this text is to present the problem of the periglacial past-processes about the making of these karsts. Successively three points concerning those phenomenons took our interest : 1) the paleoclimatical change (Würm) related to the present climatical parameters ; 2) the impact of periglacial processes about the superficial karst ; 3) the internal evolution of the karst during the cold phases.

L'objet de ce texte est de présenter le problème des anciens processus périglaciaires appliqués au façonnement de ces karsts. Trois points concernant ces phénomènes ont retenu notre attention : 1) les changements paléoclimatiques (Wiirm) en relation avec les paramètres climatiques actuels ; 2) l'impact des processus périglaciaires sur le karst superficiel ; 3) l'évolution interne du karst durant ces séquences froides.
