For A Few More Sequins... Jean Genet's Le Funambule (tightrope artist) and the Poetic Image of Movement Jean Genet classified this text as a poem, yet it is anthologised as either a text of criticism or one on aesthetics; nonetheless, if read tightly as a poem, it reveals itself to be both poem as movement, movement of the poet following a thread itself brought to life by movement, and a poetics of art as movement.
