BOLON PEDRETTI Alma - Integration-exclusion : two preconstrued notions ? Departing from the notion of preconstruction and the workings of nominalization (Sériot 1986), we attempt to bring out the heterogenous quality governing the two forms "exclusion" and "integration". With thid in mind, we trace the limits of their opposition, confront the nominalizations to their underlying verbal forms and compare the ways that "The integration of immigrants" and "European integration" function. At the same time, we pick out and analyze a few examples of how opacifying markers (Authier-Revuz 1995) can question preconstructions. Though the examples come from the daily Le Monde, this study is not intended as an attempt at disarticulating some obvious effects of a discourse which, when all is said and done, is relatively common.

En prenant appui sur la notion de préconstruit et sur le fonctionnement de la nominalisation (Sériot 1986) on cherche à faire ressortir l'hétérogénéité qui gouverne les formes "exclusion" et "intégration". Dans ce but, on cerne les limites de l'opposition, on confronte les nominalisations aux énoncés verbaux sous-jacents et on met en contraste le fonctionnement d' "intégration des immigrés" et celui d' "intégration de l'Europe". Par la même occasion, on relève quelques exemples de questionnement du préconstruit au moyen de marques opacifiantes (Authier-Revuz 1995), et on les analyse. Bien que les exemples étudiés aient été puisés dans le journal Le Monde, le travail ne se veut pas une analyse du discours de la presse. Il peut être lu comme un essai de désarticulation de quelques effets d'évidence décelables dans un discours, tout compte fait, assez passe-partout.
