RÉSUMÉ Le tourisme finistérien représente le tiers du tourisme breton et 4 % du total des estivants français. Les meublés, les résidences secondaires et les terrains de camping hébergent la majorité des touristes, aux dépens d'une hôtellerie médiocre. La clientèle familiale et sportive apprécie le calme et pratique le nautisme, en plein développement. Un littoral varié, une différence climatique entre le Léon et la Cornouaille permettent de distinguer quelques grands secteurs d'aménagement touristique. La promotion de l'intérieur, encore méconnu, pourrait se faire par l'intermédiaire du Parc d'Armorique. Mais les difficultés rencontrées posent le problème de l'insertion brutale du tourisme dans un monde encore rural.
