The excavations realized in Espace Mangin lead to a better knowledge of the site plan and the chronology of the forum, along the southern branch of the cardo. Hence, we can have for the first time a precise idea of the connexion between the two urban networks of the Roman city and the buildings dated from Caesar period, before the déduction of the colony. Furthermore, the excavations produced remnants of constructions and lead tags witnessing weaving craft.

Les fouilles de l'Espace Mangin fournissent l'occasion de préciser le plan et la chronologie du forum, le long de la branche méridionale du cardo. Elles nous renseignent aussi, pour la première fois de façon assez précise, sur l'articulation entre les deux réseaux d'urbanisme de la ville romaine et sur l'existence de constructions d'époque césarienne, antérieures à la déduction de la colonie.
