In the course of a rescue excavation near the boundary of the communes of Plomb and Pont in the Manche department (Basse-Normandie) a number of pits of human or natural origin were discovered wich contained Neolithic ceramic and lithic material. The pottery was characterised by relief decoration (buttons and cordons) wich though not abundant allowed the occupation to be attnbuted to a late phase of the Villeneuve-Saint-Germain group. This site complements the information obtained from the excavation at Le Haut-Mée, at Saint- Etienne en Coglès in Ille-et-Vilaine (Bretagne).

A l'occasion d'une opération de fouille préventive à Pont et Plomb (Manche), du matériel céramique et lithique néolithique a été découvert dans plusieurs fosses d'origine anthropique ou naturelle. La céramique se caractérise par des décors exclusivement modelés, boutons et cordons, peu abondants qui permettent de rattacher l'occupation à une étape récente de la culture Villeneuve-Saint-Germain. Ce site vient compléter les données acquises lors de la fouille du Haut-Mée à Saint-Etienne-en-Coglès en Ille-et-Vilaine.
