Excavations prior to the construction of the A87 motorway (Angers - Cholet - La Roche-sur-Yon) caused the discovery, at «La Dugerie » on the commune of la Gaubretière (Vendée), of a small eroded settlement, datingfrom the second Iron Age and probably dedicated to agriculture.
