خلاصة •إن إعادة فحص " الإنشاء الغامض" المكتشف في موقع تللو من قبل العالمين هنري دو غونوياك وأندريه بارو قبل تسعين عاماً، قادنا إلى التخلي عن جميع التفاسير المقترحة حتى هذا اليوم: مدفن تحت الأرض، معبد، حاجز مائي أو ناظم من أجل بحيرة. الفحص النقدي للملاحظات في الحفرية، المخططات، الرسومات، والصور (البعض منها يعود لهذا اليوم) تقودنا بطريقة أكيدة إلى الخلاص بأن هذه المنشأة تعود إلى أساس لجسر فوق القناة. هذه الخطوة سمحت لنا أيضاً التحقق من أن مَوضِع المنشأة المقتَرح في المنشورة هو خاطئ: إذ أن بعض التحول الطفيف يسمح بوضع هذه المنشأة على نقطة طبوغرافية محددة تجيب بشكل دقيق عن متطلبات بعض الإنشاءات المتواجدة على وادي ما، وهي في الواقع القناة القديمة التي تجتاز الموقع.

A reappraisal of the “enigmatic structure” found at Tello ninety years ago by Henri de Genouillac and André Parrot leads to a new interpretation. Nothing allowed the previous conclusions of a hypogeus, of a temple, of a dam for a storage basin or of a water regulator. Investigating field observations, drawings and photographs (some unpublished until now) give clearly the solution: this structure is a bridge over a channel. Another conclusion is that the ancient situation of this building on the site was erroneous: a slight translation allowed to put this bridge at a topographic convenient place over a wadi (the ancient channel) crossing the site.

Le réexamen de la «construction énigmatique» dégagée sur le site de Tello par Henri de Genouillac et André Parrot il y a près de 90 ans conduit à abandonner toutes les interprétations proposées à ce jour: hypogée, temple, barrage pour un bassin ou un régulateur. L’examen critique des observations de fouille, des plans, des dessins et des photos (certaines inédites à ce jour) conduit de façon certaine à la conclusion qu’il s’agit de l’infrastructure d’un pont enjambant un canal. La même démarche permet de constater que l’emplacement proposé dans la publication pour cette construction est erroné: une légère translation permet de la placer sur un point topographique qui répond précisément aux exigences d’une telle installation sur un wadi – en réalité l’ancien canal – qui traverse le site.
