Résumé
A synthetic présentation of the Tractatus logico-philosophicus of Wittgenstein provides the occasion for posing the following questions : To what extent was the Viennese philosopher scientistic ? Does his philosophy of language imply atheism ? Our discussion shows, on the one hand, that the occasional attribution of a scientistic atheism to Wittgenstein is in fact a création of the Circle of Vienna to which he always refused to belong and, on the other hand, that the philosophy ofhis Tractatus, by the radical criticism which it makes of a metaphysics of représentation, provides a paradoxical opening to "That about which one cannot speak...".
