In al-Andalus (muslim Spain and Portugal), from 10th to 15th century, merchants, scholars, soldiers, princes and ambassadors, who move around in the space of the Same, travel from one town to another; they easily find their landmarks in a town which exhibits the same social space management. These trips are examined through the travellers’ eyes upon the urban space; in these eyes, the traveller’s silhouette stands out, too.
