Gilles Saussier, « Graver la terre, une inclinaison photographique », Focales, ID : 10.4000/11r59
How can we bear witness to the relationship between the peasant’s experience, the agricultural landscape and the agri-food industry, as well as to the evolution of the rural territory and its representations? In Nina Ferrer-Gleize’s work, the agricultural soil becomes the site of investigation and the milieu of new regimes of attention, observation and sensitivity. By leaning in, the photographer moves closer to an anthropology of the tactile. Farmland becomes a sensitive plate and a metaphor for photographic revelation.
