Cet article retrace le parcours d’un combattant antifasciste qui, fuyant l’Espagne franquiste, poursuit la lutte contre le nazisme en Afrique du Nord et en Europe avant de se retrouver en France, où il s’installe et vit jusqu’à sa mort, sans jamais retourner en Galice. Comme tant d’autres exilés, le destin de notre protagoniste est marqué par les guerres civile et mondiale, par la séparation de sa famille et de son pays, par la reconstruction d’une nouvelle vie en France, par le silence et par la présence d’un passé complexe et difficile.

Este artículo analiza el periplo de un luchador antifascista que, huyendo de la España franquista, continuó la lucha contra el nazismo en el norte de África y en Europa y acabó en Francia, donde se instaló y vivió hasta su muerte, sin regresar nunca a Galicia. Como tantos otros exiliados, el destino de nuestro protagonista está marcado por la Guerra Civil y la Segunda Guerra Mundial, por la separación de su familia y de su país, por la reconstrucción de una nueva vida en Francia, por el silencio y por la presencia de un pasado complejo y difícil.

This article will analyse the journey of an anti-fascist fighter who, fleeing Franco’s Spain, continued the fight against Nazism in North Africa and Europe and ended up in France, where he settled and lived until his death, without ever returning to Galicia. Like so many other exiles, the fate of our protagonist is marked by the Civil War and the Second World War, by the separation from his family and his country, by the reconstruction of a new life in France, by silence and by the presence of a complex and difficult past.
