This research focuses on how the expression of gender and sexual orientation norms interacts with the rehabilitation of minors in deprivation of liberty. It explores the manifestation of the social constructions related to these issues in detention centers for boys and girls in Bogota, Colombia. It highlights the tensions that exist between a non-discriminatory approach advocated by institutional policies versus an individualized and inclusive approach to the rehabilitation of minors.

Cette recherche s’intéresse à la façon dont l’expression des normes de genre et d’orientation sexuelle interagit avec la réhabilitation des mineur·e·s en privation de liberté. Elle explore la façon dont les constructions sociales liées à ces problématiques sont manifestées dans des centres de détention pour garçons et pour filles à Bogota en Colombie. Elle met en évidence les champs de tensions qui existent entre une approche non-discriminatoire prônée par les politiques institutionnelles face à une approche individualisée et inclusive de la réhabilitation des mineur·e·s.
