Nina Studer is a historian and an expert in drinking studies, North Africa, colonialism, and women’s history. She is the author of the book The Hidden Patients: North African Women in French Colonial Psychiatry (Böhlau Verlag, 2015). Since 2009, she has conducted research and taught at the universities of Zürich, Marburg, Bern, Heidelberg, Hamburg, and Basel.
