This paper is an attempt to examine how a group of Moriscos had been deported from Granada all the way to Toledo following the 1568 uprising. We will give an account of how the authorities proceeded to lead them to their destination, and how, all along the way, some had chosen to stay in the villages or had been forced to do so. We will accompany a group of Moriscos in their long journey, which will last for almost two months, from November to the end of December, in wet cold weather.
