The implementation of a dashboard in the health and social care sector can be perceived as a coercive or enabling control by the actors responsible for the facilities and services. This article draws on a longitudinal field research to present an analysis of the evolution of these perceptions. The results show three phases: discovery, between fears and hopes; partial acceptance, between rejection and appropriation; and integration, voluntary or resigned. The research contributions concern the fields of enabling and coercive controls on the one hand and transformations in the health and social care sector on the other.
