Water: from a common good “par excellence” to the challenge of a new relationship between the public and the common good The article presents the intersection between the concept of public and common, via the emblematic case of the struggles for the human right to water and against water privatisation and commodification. Reinventing the concept of common and public contributes both to the elaboration of an alternative social and economic imagery and to a discussion about heritage, including cultural one.
