Peu de temps après sa parution, Millénium acquiert le statut d’« œuvre » en même temps que Stieg Larson, journaliste suédois spécialiste de l’extrême droite, acquiert le statut d’écrivain. Cette consécration interroge la fabrication sociale du journalisme dans le cadre d’un succès littéraire contribuant au métadiscours journalistique. Fondée sur l’analyse narrative des trois tomes, cette étude porte sur la fictionnalisation du journalisme opérée dans Millénium et sur la mise en abyme de l’auctorialité journalistique tiraillée entre identité collective et individuelle. La fiction propose une définition de l’investigation journalistique par le biais d’un magazine, d’un journaliste et d’une « hackeuse », trois personnages dont les efforts conjugués aboutissent toujours à la publication de livres d’enquête à portée sociale, économique et politique.

Shortly after its foundation, Millénium acquired the status of a “work of art” while Stieg Larson, a Swedish journalist specialised in far right politics acquired the status of a writer. Such a consecration questions the social making of journalism in the context of a huge literary success that enhances the journalistic meta-discourse. Based on a narrative analysis of the magazine’s three volumes, this paper deals with the fictionalization of the kind of journalism practised in Millénium as well as with a mise en abyme of journalistic authorship torn between collective and individual identity. The fiction suggests a definition for journalistic investigation through a magazine, a journalist and a female hacker making three characters whose united efforts necessarily result in publishing investigation books of social, economic and political interest.

Poco tiempo después de su aparición, Millénium adquiere el estatuto de « obra », al mismo tiempo que Stieg Larson, periodista sueco especializado en la extrema derecha, adquiere el estatuto de escritor. Esta consagración interroga la construcción social del periodismo en el marco de un éxito literario que contribuye al metadiscurso periodístico. Fundado sobre el análisis narrativo de tres tomas, este estudio lleva sobre la ficcionalización del periodismo producido operado en Millénium y sobre la “puesta en abismo” de la autoralidad periodística tironeada entre identidad colectiva e individual. La ficción propone una definición de la investigación por la vía de una revista, de un periodista y de una hackeuse, tres personajes cuyos esfuerzos combinados desembocan siempre en la publicación de libros de investigación de carácter social, económico y político.
