Morgan Donot, « L’analyse du discours présidentiel argentin en démocratie. La vocation refondationnelle », Mots. Les langages du politique, ID : 10.4000/mots.22559
One common feature of all presidents of Argentina, regardless of their trajectories and political orientations, is their creative vocation. This vocation can refer either to the tendency of Argentinian politicians to call for a return to the supposed Golden Age of their country, which was the case for the majority of the presidents with variation in sense and intensity depending on the context; or to existing political projects trying to draw a line between a demonised past and a promising future. This article discusses different research in discourse analysis that focusses on this fundamental subject of the Argentinian political discourse since the democratic transition in 1983.
