Vers des solidarités alimentaires territorialisées... Retour sur la recherche-action SOLALTER menée en Bretagne

L’objet de notre contribution porte sur les articulations et les interactions entre plusieurs mouvements engagés dans le champ d’une alimentation responsable, locale, solidaire et accessible pour tous. Au travers de la recherche-action SOLALTER (SOLidarités Alimentaires TERritorialisées) menées entre 2012 et 2014 en Bretagne, notre analyse cherche à comprendre comment ces initiatives de solidarités alimentaires (groupements d’achat, jardins collectifs, épiceries...) émanant de dispositifs classiques d’aide alimentaire ou d’innovations sociales de circuits courts peuvent se compléter et permettre ainsi un meilleur accès à une alimentation de qualité pour tous sur leur territoire. Après avoir présenté le contexte de notre recherche-action centrée sur un diagnostic territorial de ces initiatives en Bretagne, nous examinons par la suite huit initiatives de solidarités alimentaires symboliques afin d’en révéler les caractéristiques de formes et de fonctionnements, puis d’en discuter enfin les enseignements généraux révélés par ces initiatives quant au jeu de constantes et aux enjeux-clés auxquels elles restent confrontés.

This article is interested in the connexions and interactions between several movements involved in the field of a responsible, local, united and socially accessible food supply. It analyses the results of surveys conducted between 2012 and 2014 in Brittany within the participatory research project SOLALTER (Territorialized food solidarities). We try to understand how these initiatives of food solidarities (consumer’s cooperatives, collective gardens, social grocer’s shops...), initiated either by the French mainstream food solidarity organization’s or by short food supply chain’s innovators, show complementarities and allow a better access to a quality food for all on their territory. We present first the context of this project, centered on an extensive inventory of food solidarity initiatives in Brittany. Then, we examine more particularly eight of these initiatives, selected as representative. An approach of their strategies by six indicators allows to synthesize and to compare their main forms and characteristics. The discussion focuses on the general lessons revealed by these initiatives regarding the set of constants and the key issues they still face, in a perspective of inter-regional comparison and more national scope.
