Les évolutions institutionnelles, économiques, réglementaires et sociales du secteur de l’électricité ont conduit les chercheurs en sciences humaines à explorer les profondes mutations apparemment en cours. Au-delà des moments privilégiés que sont les conflits sociaux, les ressorts de la mobilisation, les stratégies syndicales, les glissements des revendications, les modalités d’action sont autant de phénomènes ayant une profondeur historique. Les textes du dossier qui suivent ont ainsi vocation à défricher le terrain d’une nouvelle histoire sociale de l’électricité.

It is the institutional, economic and regulatory as well as social changes that surfaced in the electricity sector that have lead the researchers in social sciences to explore the profound transformations that are apparently under way. Beyond the privileged moments that the industrial disputes constitute, the workings of mobilization, the union strategies and the shifts in the protests, the modes of action are as many phenomena that have deep historic reverberation. The texts in the file below are meant to clear the way for writing a new social history of electricity.
