Freud, dans son texte sur l’analyse profane (1926a), alertait le lecteur sur le fait que lorsqu’on a trouvé une interprétation, il faut attendre le bon moment pour la communiquer au patient. A la question « à quoi reconnaît-on chaque fois le bon moment ? », il répondait que c’était une question de « Takt », traduit en français par le mot « flair ». Les auteurs de l’article s’emparent de cette question pour en approfondir la portée en clinique psychanalytique. S’appuyant sur les approches phénoménologique et psychanalytique, ils montrent que le tact, dans le cadre de la rencontre clinique, relève d’une dimension temporelle particulière créant de la profondeur dans l’instant. Ce faisant, il se présente comme la possibilité de mettre en résonance le réel humain pour le faire échoir au symbolique.

The question of tact in psychoanalysisFreud, in his paper on lay analysis (1926), warned the reader that when he found an interpretation, he should wait for the right moment to communicate it to the patient. For the question « how to reco-gnize the right moment each time ? ». he answered that it was a matter of « takt », translated into french by the word « flair ». The authors of this article take on this question to give depth to its full significance in psychoanalytical clinic. Based on phenomenlogical and psychoanalytical approaches, they show that tact in the setting of the clinical encounter involves a particular temporal dimension, creating instant depth. In doing so, it presents itself as the possibility to resonate with human reality and make it fall into the system of symbolics.
