The article reconstructs the logic in which the pandemic is framed from the point of view of what psychoanalysis teaches about the structure of the subject, social ties, and their knotting by symptoms. Without the constitutive relationship of the human being to language, it is difficult to be aware of the mutation by the advent of modern science, and then the domination of technoscience, of social ties with the eruption of the capitalist discourse and the contemporary form of biopower. And, further, it is difficult to understand the link between the appearance of the proletariat and the logical protest of the subject expressed in symptoms such that it led to the invention of psychoanalysis to receive it. The current health crisis reveals the extent to which the capitalist discourse hones its aggression against this resistance of the subject, but also how much we can count on the latter to exasperate capitalism. Psychoanalysis is an enacted response which allows the subject to assure himself that he has the capacity to act and contribute to the theory of the conditions of social change that the times require.
