Avec cette étude nous nous proposons d’offrir une analyse exhaustive de toutes les citations d’auteurs classiques contenues dans l’œuvre De uerbo d’Eutychès ( GL V 447-489). En particulier, nous nous focaliserons sur la relation du De uerbo avec les autres œuvres grammaticales partageant les mêmes citations que celles d’Eutychès. En outre, nous comparerons les citations mêmes avec la tradition directe qui les transmet, afin d’examiner les sources et la méthodologie de travail d’Eutychès et de fournir un outil précieux pour les chercheurs travaillant sur les grammairiens latins.

With this study we intend to offer an exhaustive analysis of all the quotations of classic authors contained in the grammarian Eutyches’ work De uerbo ( GL V 447-489). Special attention is given to the relationship between this treatise and other grammatical works that share the same quotations and examples. Moreover, the quotations found in Eutyches’ work are compared to their direct tradition in the manuscripts, which enables us to shed light on the sources and methodology of Eutyches and to offer a new tool to scholars working on Latin grammarians.
