Résumé 0

Health Education “By Body”. An Analysis of Two Anti-Sedentary Lifestyle Public Health Campaign (1980 and 2001-2012) The promotion of physical exercise as a health factor develops during the eighties. This new preoccupation emerges at the same time as physical inactivity becomes a public health issue, which needs to be addressed though public health education. Using a comparative analysis of two media campaigns twenty years apart, our study tries to better identify the real space given over to physical exercise and tries to describe the main evolutions in the forms of exercise recommended. In the more recent campaign, the emergence of greater precision in the types of exercise being recommended and in the amount of commitment necessary testifies to a new importance being granted to physical effort and valorises the management and promotion of physical effort on a daily basis as a new moral of health.
