The economic situation in Lebanon and its perspectives for development in the region The economic situation in Lebanon since the end of the war has continued to degrade in terms of the quality of life of its citizens and of its role in the regional economy. The country is undergoing a structural crisis that continues to worsen and that will not fail to manifest itself with greater and greater force, if deep economic reforms and major changes are not undertaken on the economic policies in place since 1992.
