L’article esquisse une logique musicale du rythme à la lumière du tournant géométrique de la pensée qui s’affirme à la charnière des XX° et XXI° siècles.Il s’agit, ce faisant, de clarifier la contribution propre du rythme musical à trois composantes, hiérarchiquement stratifiées :la cohésion structurale du monde-Musique ;la cohérence discursive du morceau de musique ;la consistance stratégique de l’œuvre musicale.

This article outlines a musical logic of rhythm in the light of the geometric turn of thought at the turn of the twenty-first century.The issue is to clarify the specific contribution of musical rhythm to three components, stratified hierarchically as follows:the structural coherence of the Music-world;the discursive coherence of the musical piece;the strategic substance of the musical world.
