Today in Great Britain more than half of young people aged 18 to 24 live with their parents. As for 25 to 35 year-olds, the figure is around 14%. Thus, approximately 6.8 million over-18s live in their parents’ house, and two million of these are over 30. Some have never left home; others left home and then returned to the family dwelling at a later date.
