L’on résume de façon coutumière le management scientifique de Taylor à la rationalisation du travail ainsi qu’à une organisation qui sépare la conception de l’exécution. Toutefois une lecture attentive du texte taylorien permet d’engager un travail herméneutique qui met à jour les fondements insoupçonnés de la doctrine taylorienne : le principe d’exception, le projet politique de coopération, la catégorie théologique de l’amitié.

scientific management is often summarized to the rationalization of work and to the separation between conception and execution. Nevertheless, an attentive reading of Taylors’s texts allow us to handle an hermeneutic job that emphasizes the unexpected foundations of taylorian project: the exception principle, the political will to cooperate, the theological category of friendship.
