This volume examines, through French, Swiss and Italian case studies, the phenomenon of religious sociability between 13th and 15th century under different aspects. The first working group examines the young people sociability in Torino, Milano and Napoli and the social integration of new age groups. The second working group is interested in the weight of tradition and renewal of sociability in Savoie, Dauphiné and Auvergne, especially through the social "élites", seen as the strongest, the most capable of changing the society. Finally, the third group examines the sociability in deviant and exclusion environments between Dauphiné and occidental Switzerland. Studying these groups allow to highlight the consensus fixed by the church and the social "élites". The interaction between political and religious aspects is present all through these communications.

Collègues et amis médiévistes italiens, suisses et français procèdent à un échange ouvert sur les travaux en cours et les acquis dans le domaine de la vie communautaire et de la dynamique qui l’anime en fonction d’un projet de société. Une place particulière a été réservée aux « jeunes » dont trois cas italiens de confréries et associations permettent de s’interroger sur l’intégration d’une classe d’âge porteuse d’exigences nouvelles. Le thème « sociabilité traditionnelle, sociabilité renouvelée » est abordé dans le cadre des principautés dauphinoises et savoyarde d’un double point de vue politique et religieux permettant de percevoir l’influence exercée par les forces vives en action sur un corps social dont la réceptivité manifeste l’engagement dans un projet commun. Le monde des « exclus » enfin est révélateur de situations, d’aspirations et de courants profonds animant des groupes aux marges ou en rupture du consensus fixé par l’Église et par les élites sociales, dont se trouvent soulignés par là même les choix fondamentaux.
