Dans l’entretien accordé à la revue Psychanalyse, le photographe Gautier Deblonde parle de l’évolution de son travail de portraitiste, de son rapport à l’image, à la création artistique et à l’art contemporain. Sa rencontre avec le sculpteur australien Ron Mueck, lors de la fabrication de Boy pour la Biennale de Venise en 1999, aboutira à la réalisation de son premier film, Still Life, Ron Mueck at Work, à l’occasion de l’exposition de Ron Mueck à la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, en 2013.

From the Photographer to the ArtistIn this interview granted to the journal Psychanalyse, the photographer Gautier Deblonde discusses the development of his work as a portraitist and his relationship with the image, artistic creation and contemporary art. His encounter with the Australian sculptor Ron Mueck, when he was working on Boy for the 1999 Venice Biennale, led him to direct his first film, Still Life, Ron Mueck at Work, shown at Mueck’s exposition at the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain in 2013.

De su encuentro con el escultor autraliano Ron Mueck durante la fabricación de Boy para la bienal de Venecia en 1999, resultará la realización de su primera película Still Life, Ron Mueck at work, con motivo de la exposición del artista en la Fundación Cartier para el arte contemporaneo en 2013.
