Care management of Autism Spectrum Disorder in adulthood clearly requires expertise in terms of knowledge of the issue and the techniques to deal with it. This requirement cannot be met without first strengthening the capacity of the environmental field in order for it to become a part of this approach. The Centre Expertise Autisme Adultes [Center of Expertise in Adult Autism, CEAA] at the Centre Hospitalier de Niort has developed a mediator, Le guide d’accompagnement environnemental [Guide to environmental support], to generate a suitable dynamic by organizing an approach around a simple process, without failure, and accessible in daily life.
