La conception jungienne de l’autre, dit anima pour l’homme et animus pour la femme, met en avant une forme d’inadéquation dans la relation. En quoi et comment pouvons-nous associer ce terme d’inadéquation avec les concepts jungiens de l’autre ? Partant de la question de Jung sur le devenir psychique des « éléments » de l’autre sexe, et s’interrogeant à partir de la clinique, l’auteure traite de la valeur de l’inadéquation dans les relations de couple dans lequel la conscience des projections croisées est source de transformation pour les deux.

The Jungian conception of the other, called the anima for a man and animus for a woman, emphasizes a form of inadequacy in the relationship. How, and to what degree, can we associate this term “inadequacy” with Jungian concepts of the other? Starting from Jung’s question on the psychological becoming of the “elements” of the opposite gender, and considering the clinical data, the author discusses the value of inadequacy in couple relationships in which the awareness of hybrid projections is a source of transformation for both.
