Résumé
By analysing the different marxist approaches to art and litterature (from Marx and Engels to the crititcal theory of the Francfort School) this study analyses several questions: art and society, the artistic and political Avant-Gardes, Realism, the autonomy and power of artistic production. It offers a provisional marxist assessment in this domain.
