Résumé 0

How can we respond to a family’s request to take care of one of its members who has been living in isolation for years, without forcing them or enclosing them in psychiatry? A whole team was brought together to create a “tailor-made” response for a family with a tragically unique destiny. The work of elaboration by several people made it possible to weave a family story that, beyond the theoretical contributions of each person, has its origins in a mythology shared by all: ’The Odyssey. Our patient became Ulysses, his family and intra-psychic rupture became a journey, we changed temporality and were ready to dream his return to life. In the depths of the strata of his psychic life, the therapeutic relationship based, unusually, on single-word emails opened the slow process of rebirth.
