The aim of Anthroponomy is to bypass the opposition between the standard model of scientific Economy, which is grounded upon quantitative studies and the model of quality, proper to the other human studies. This new method distinguishes two concepts : « structure » which is formal and immutable « open system » which is mostly concerned with mutation, in close connection with all that can change society. The notion of structural reproduction of goods which characterizes economy is distinguished from the « re-generation » of human beings in their personal and collective relations to life and death, to their ability to learn and even to create in all the social fields (kinship, work, politics, information).
