Last month Dr Jesús Jiménez Varea, Vice-Chair of the Action “iCOn-MICS Action – Investigation on Comics and Graphic Novels in the Iberian Cultural Area” (CA19119), was invited to the International Symposium ‘Sugar and Spice and the Not So Nice: Picturing Girlhood’ held in Ghent (Belgium) to publicise the ambitions, objectives and current activities of the project.
