Based on a case study which raises the question of functioning without imaginary potential, what place can be given to the body in a psychotherapy in relational psychosomatic ? Verbal psychotherapy, with its comprehension of the body and the relationship, allows the personal existence of the subject. Then relational psychosomatic relaxation, offering tailored “body situations” that follows what was verbalized during the relationship, gives way to the subject which sustains the representation. The representation, then enhanced by dreams, enables him to fill the breach that kept the subject from knowing his own personal issues, which enriches the reflection on these and eases the way to dealing with the gridlock and its understanding.
